With the season well and truly over (my season review coming soon on here) we now have a few dates to put in your diary coming up in the summer.
Firstly we are holding a meeting for the upcoming 2022-23 campaign looking for match day volunteers from our existing fan base and also to encourage new people to join us on our journey next season.
We have many jobs to do behind the scenes on a match day and the more people we have to help the better it is and this is your chance to get involved with our fantastic club and do your bit
PRESTWICH CLOUGH DAY
On the following day 22 May Heys will be having the now traditional stall at Prestwich Clough day in St Mary's flower park on Bury New Road from 12pm to 5pm.
This is a great way for the club to spread the word and say hello to the locals and our stall will include a history section on the club's past achievements, club merchandise to buy such as badges scarves and pendants and a tombola with prizes for the kids amongst other things so don't be a stranger come down say hello and join in the fun.
FUN DAY FOR QUEENS JUBILEE
This one is hot off the press as the queen's jubilee fast approaches so does a long weekend and on Friday 3rd June, we will be hosting a family fun day at Adie Moran Park with lots of activities for kids and a well stocked bar for the adults, more about this will be published in the up-and-coming weeks.
On the football front pre season games have been announced with the St Annes Trophy in a four team tournament with Heys, Walshaw, Elton Vale, and Tottington games played week commencing 11 July, more information on this is available on the official website.
